Crosser entering Germany - opening new office in Munich

Gartner “Cool Vendor” in Edge Computing and leader in Edge Analytics announces opening of new office in Germany.

Stockholm/Munich, 20 November, 2019 - Crosser, a leading provider of Intelligent Edge Analytics software for Industrial IoT and Industry 4.0, today announced the opening of a new office in Munich as part of it’s growth strategy the company announced earlier this year.

“Germany is the heart of the European manufacturing industry and the leading nation in the transformation into Smart Manufacturing, also known as Industry 4.0, a concept launched in Germany. It’s a natural next step for Crosser to establish a German subsidiary to support our growing customer base in Germany and the whole DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)”, says Martin Thunman, CEO and co-founder of Crosser.

The Crosser real-time platform empowers manufacturers to apply intelligence, automation and integration of machine data faster and easier than ever before. The platform uses pre-built building blocks in the form of modules and a drag-and-drop interface which enables customers to self-service and innovate faster and at a significant lower cost.

“We believe that access to team resources is one of the biggest challenges in the digital transformation companies want to make” continues Martin Thunman.

Smart technology can lower the barriers and remove complexity which empowers non-experts to innovate and maintain a solution over the life-cycle.”

Kai Schwab, former Regional Sales Director at Vlocity and Sales Director at Amber Road, with more than 20 years experience from the software industry will lead the business development in the DACH region.

“Crosser is offering an independent software layer between machines, corporate systems and cloud services. The Edge Analytics and Integration Layer is considered to be one of the most important aspects of the digitalised industry”,says Kai Schwab, Crosser newly appointed Regional Sales Director for the DACH region. “One key strength is that customers can start with a single use case and have a future proof solution that allows them to scale with a low Total Cost of Ownership.”
